In North Africa they love it: harissa. Harissa is a sauce that is eaten almost daily, especially in Tunisia and Algeria. The sauce is used in many different ways: as a spicy cooking ingredient, rub on meat, in stews, tagine dishes, grilled vegetables (especially courgette and aubergine) soups, with couscous or as a dip (sometimes mixed with yogurt) with bread or cucumber.
