Koroneiki extra virgin olive oil comes from the Chania region, which is the most Western province of the Greek island Crete. This olive oil is made from 100% koroneiki olives. More than 60% of the total Greek olive harvest is Koroneiki. That is for a good reason: koroneiki olives are famous for their refined, fruity and rich taste. The olives are relatively small and grow well in warm and dry climates. The olives are harvested between November and January. The olives are hand picked and within 3 to 12 hours after the harvest, the olives are brought to the press. Koroneiki olive oil combines perfectly with our Marc de champagne vinegar. And it might sound slightly obvious, but this Greek olive oil is particularly suitable for a delicious Greek salad!
