The spatula handle is made of 100% olive wood. Because every tree has a different growth structure and therefore its own 'wood pattern', every product is unique! In addition, olive wood is very hygienic: the oils and the bitter substance (oleuropein) in the wood create an unfavorable environment for bacteria.

To keep the olive wood in top condition, we recommend washing the olive wood by hand without detergent. Is the olive wood starting to lose colour or dry out? Then oil it with neutral (olive) oil. This way you ensure that your olive wood will last for years!
