Pasta is eaten all over the world, but originates in Italy. Pasta is actually a collective name for Italian noodles, such as macaroni, spaghetti and vermicelli and is a dough that can be cut into all kinds of shapes.

Because olive trees are so typical of the Italian landscape, the local Sicilian population began to make pasta in the form of an olive leaf, in Italian 'foglie d'ulivo'. This fact makes this Pasta Foglie d'Ulivo from Oil & Vinegar so unique. In the same pasta range you can see more of these typical local traditions and shapes: Pasta Trofie from Liguria with a typical spiral shape or Pasta Orecchiette Multigusto, ear-shaped multicolour paste from southern Italian Puglia.

Foglie d'Ulivo is produced by the slow drying traditional method, and fresh spinach added to the dough gives the natural, green colour of this pasta. As a result of using natural colours, this product can vary in colour each time it is made. This gives this pasta an extra unique characteristic.

The amount of Pasta Foglie d'Ulivo is enough for 6 to 7 people and has a preparation time of 15 to 18 minutes. This pasta needs little: some olive oil, garlic and mixed olives, such as the Olive Miste Condite alla Toscana.

  • durum wheat semolina, dehydrated spinach (2%).
