Recipes from Oil & Vinegar

Nice to know

This Fruit & Yoghurt in a Jar gives you sufficient energy for the rest of the day!
For this recipe, we make our own fresh granola. Granola is very easy to make yourself. It is a mix of oats, nuts, and berries or seeds that you then sweeten with honey, syrup or cinnamon. You then roast this mix in the oven. Making your own Granola is lots of fun and at the same time healthy. You can decide for yourself whether to add sugar or a sweetener, as we have done in this recipe.

We’ve also added Strawberry Prosecco Coulis to this Fruit & Yoghurt in a Jar. A fruit coulis of strawberries and prosecco made from 100% natural ingredients. Besides giving it a fresh, sweet taste, it turns the standard fruit and yoghurt recipe into something really special!

  • Ingredients

    • Pure Food Inside glass jar 1L • 250 g oats • 6 tbsp honey • 6 tbsp sunflower oil • 75 g hazelnuts, chopped • 50 g grated coconut • cinnamon • dried cranberries • 750 ml Greek yoghurt • fresh strawberries • blueberries, blackberries and raspberries (a few extra for the garnish) • Strawberry Prosecco Coulis (fruit sauce with strawberries and prosecco)

  • Getting started

Preheat the oven to 170ºC. Wash and slice the strawberries. Rinse the blueberries and blackberries. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

    Step 2

To make the granola, mix together the oats, honey, sunflower oil, cinnamon and hazelnuts. Place this on the baking tray and bake for 20 minutes until crunchy. Then add the coconut and dried cranberries.

    Step 3

Fill the Pure Food Inside glass jar with a layer of the granola, followed by yoghurt, then the Strawberry Prosecco Coulis and finally a layer of strawberries. Repeat this, but now replace the strawberries with blueberries. Doing this, layer by layer, with the different fruits creates a really beautiful effect.

Presentation tip: Garnish with granola and the leftover fruit.
