Christmas is not only the best season of the year, but also the tastiest. Whether you stand in the kitchen for hours to put an outstanding meal on the table or just keep it low-key and easy as possible: at Oil & Vinegar you’ll find everything to make your Christmas dinner special. And you can even do that with only one product.

 

  • 1 ½ cup Flour for Fresh Pizza
    1/3 cup whole milk
    1 ½ tsp dry yeast
    1 tsp sea salt (for the dough)
    1 tbsp Delizia di miele con fragole
    1/3 cup Bonsecco Olive Oi
    4 tbsp Olive Mayonnaise l
    3.5 oz mature cheese
    4 tsp Honey Mustard
    Black Pepper
    Sea salt
    2 eggs
    1 cucumber

  • Make the dough from the Pizza flour, milk, yeast, a teaspoon of sea salt, one egg and strawberry honey.
    Add the olive oil and knead well. Cover with a moist tea towel and allow to rise for 90 minutes in a
    warm place. Next, put the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.


    Coarsely grate the cucumber (with the skin). Sprinkle the grated cucumber with ample salt and allow
    to soak for an hour. This will extract the moisture from the cucumber which will make for a nice and
    silky salad.

    Divide the dough into small spheres of around 1 oz each and transfer them to a baking sheet.
    Allow the spheres to rise for 30 minutes, covered with cling wrap. Pre-heat the oven to 350 °F. Separate
    the egg and whisk the yolk. Cover the spheres with the yolk and bake them in the oven for 15 minutes.
    In the meantime, coarsely grate the cheese.

    Transfer the grated cucumber to a strainer, rinse to remove the salt and allow to drain thoroughly. Now
    mix the grated cheese with the grated cucumber, olive mayonnaise, honey mustard and season with
    sea salt and black pepper. Allow the brioche rolls to cool, cut them in half and spread with a generous
    layer of cucumber-cheese salad. Bon appetite!
