Date Balsamic Vinegar is made from date syrup, among other things and Baslamico di Modena. The Date Balsamic Vinegar has a more syrupy texture with the delectable aroma and taste of dates. The date is a tropical stone-fruit, containing a hard seed and grows in bushels on the female plant. Dates are harvested in November and December and eaten both fresh and dried. Harvesting dates has been done for centuries, most likely originating in the Middle East. Dates are rich in vitamin A and B as well as iron, magnesium and phosphorus.

And this Date Balsamic Vinegar is most certainly versatile! With regular cheese, cream cheese and nuts this excellent flavor cannot be missed. The vinegar also makes a great marinade or sauce component on various types of meat such as poultry or venison. Ice cream also is a treat made even better with the addition of this delightful date vinegar. Also makes a surprisingly strong and sweet flavor in a salad or as counterpoint to a savory tagine or steamed dish with curry.
